At Kagoshima Japanese Language School, students study in classes according to their Japanese language levels. Homeroom teachers assist students with questions about Japanese, daily living, looking for a part-time job, and various other issues. Because we are a smaller school, teachers and students can talk and interact together openly. We are all like one big family.
While Japanese for daily living is a given, we aim at teaching Japanese for entry into junior colleges, universities, and graduate schools. We are working diligently in leading students so that they will all be able to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Tests level 1 or 2 before they graduate.
However, we are not just about Japanese language. There are lots of chances to experience Japanese culture and participate in various traditional events. We hope that you will make a lot of pleasant memories while you are here.
Even if you don't know anyone living in Kagoshima, don't worry. We will help you get set up in the dormitory or help you find an apartment and co-sign for you. We will also help you find a good part-time job, take care of the immigration paperwork, and assist you in applying for universities or other schools when you are done here.
